Originally constructed in 1975, the Snowmass, Colorado home had a small, underdeveloped landscaped area that was filled with potential.
The transformative strategy was to infill this area as a new indoor-outdoor dining room in a manner that pays respect to the recent, contemporary remodel.
The solution created an entertaining space integrating the existing fireplace and could accommodate or more guests.
The existing fireplace is wrapped with granite on all sides, becoming the anchoring connection between the living, kitchen and dining rooms.
