Safety, utility, weather reistance and character improvements to existing transit stations
As a part of our ongoing contact as on-call architect with the City of Aspen, various improvements were made to the existing Burlingame Ranch transit stations to increase the structure’s ability to stand up to the harsh mountain climate, enhance safety and provide additional utility, while reinforcing and improving the rich mountain character of the structure.
Through considered selection of materials and local climactic design knowledge, the community has has an invaluable asset’s lifetime significantly extended.
