Mike Pritchard, AIA

Principal Architect

Colorado Licensed Architect #ARC.00402125

Origins & Background:

As a Colorado licensed Architect, Mike provides BG Design clients with extensive experience in guiding residential and commercial projects from initial feasibility studies and conceptual planning & design through construction documentation, governmental permitting, and contract administration.

After graduating from Cornell University's School of Architecture, Art, & Planning, he moved to Aspen, Colorado to focus on a combination of commercial resort development and high end modern residential projects.  He has nurtured an interest in technology by specializing in architectural lighting design services, focusing on the thoughtful sculpting of designed spaces through the use of modern lighting techniques and technologies

Mike currently serves as the Architect for two Design Review Boards, guiding ownership and design teams towards sensitive and successful outcomes.  Since moving to Colorado, the mountains, landscapes, and extensive public lands of the West have served as his primary inspiration, in both work and play.  Mike balances architecture and lighting design work with his passion for trail advocacy as the executive director of the Roaring Fork Mountain Bike Association, a non-profit organization he helped found in 2008.
