Kyle Donath

Project Manager

Education:

Wentworth Institute of Technology , 2016: Bachelor in Science of Architecture

Origins & Background:

Originating from a small town in Connecticut, Kyle’s interests in design began with an appreciation for nature. Influenced by a family of home builders and wood workers, time outdoors was spent taking in the spatial and material qualities of his surroundings. Intrigued by how these elements influenced behavior and emotions, he grew interested in how they could be applied to the built environment.

Experience:

Kyle’s architectural career began in Boston, Massachusetts where he attended Wentworth Institute of Technology School of Architecture & Design. Having chosen the Adaptive Interventions concentration, much of his time was spent studying how architecture can draw from, interact with, and complement the existing conditions surrounding a project.

Following graduation, Kyle gained initial experience working on hospital and infrastructure projects. Soon after, he transitioned to a project management and design role at a successful contemporary architecture firm in Denver. Over four years, he completed numerous projects ranging from custom single-family homes to multi-family and hospitality.

Now & Other Interest:

In 2020, Kyle followed his calling by joining BG Architecture & Design to combine his experiences in design and love for nature to passionately serve clients in the mountain environment. Outside of the office, Kyle enjoys snowboarding, mountain biking, gardening and hosting social gatherings.
